If you are lucky to find someone on skype, you might try it. Just check who is online in Japan (skype me mode)

Watching tv programmes and films in Japanese helps to boost your listening skills, makes you remember vocabulary much easier and naturally improves your pronunication.

If you can handle kana, try some books or manga which have furigana over the to start with and you'll find you will start to remember the kanji you've learnt much easily and you will most likely recognise other kanji that appear multiple times because they're common.

I like this website.

I know they sell them cheaper in Japan, but postage costs from Japan would end up amounting to that much

I can probably think of more ideas, but right now lunch is calling me XD

I agree with shadowcat. Watching Japanese tv programs and movies will really help your listening skills as well as vocabulary. Also, speaking to a Japanese friend (if you have any) would help. I'm not sure how flashcards works for other, but for me it didn't turn out that well.

Good luck on your studies!

You can search via A-Z, popularity, language or genre. http://www.dramacrazy.net/drama-index/

There's an anime version of the same website too http://www.animecrazy.net/anime-index/
