Although I am only a lower intermediate level student of Japanese, I have a lot of experience as a teacher, and have done a lot of thinking about effective ways to teach the beginnings of Japanese grammar. I am only competent to help students who are in the first year or so of their study of Japanese, but I believe that I can be very helpful to students at that level. I prefer to teach only via text, because I have not had enough practice speaking myself, and do not want to pass on bad speech habits to a student.
