A rule I read for ん is pronounced like m sound.
It happens when ん come before m, b, or p.
Examples:
konbanwa - こんばんは = Good evening
tenpura - てんぷら 天ぷら = battered fried vegtable/meat
genmai - げんまい 玄米 = unmilled rice
Arigato!

Probably the closest one could get in sound would be "meimii" (めいみい in hiragana, メイミー in katakana), but a nihonjin might pronounce it "meemii" instead (めえみい in hiragana, メーミー in katakana).
I'm confused.
