Hajimemashite. Tony desu.

Many of you already know me from the chatbox, where I have already done a fair amount of teaching.

I'm only a lower intermediate level student, but I'm a very experienced teacher, and I've done a lot of thinking about ways of teaching which would have made it easier for me to reach my current level of proficiency. I think that I could be helpful to students in the first half year, and perhaps as much as the first full year, of their study of Japanese.

I enjoy teaching a lot, but I also need to earn some income, so I am asking for $15 per contact hour for lessons, which I think is a pretty modest fee.

You can read more information about me on my profile page, and in the entry on the Language Schools page (see link at the bottom of the web page) alphabetized under T for "Tony."

Douzo yoroshiku onegai shimasu.

P.S.: If anyone has any kind words to say about what you've learned from me via the chatbox or forum, I would greatly appreciate your saying them in responses to this posting. Thanks.

I can recommend tony for all beginners that would like to learn Japanese using chat/email conversations.
Tony is good at grammar, kanji and polite language, and I have seen him help many many users in the chat. He is patient and careful, always going the extra mile to ensure things to be fully correct.
Good luck!

Tony-san helped me a lot in learning the Japanese Language. Though I am not that good right now, since I haven't had time to study the past month, Tony-san helped me through our chat box and through emails. I can't count the number of times I asked him for corrections regarding my grammar.

He also have thought me few Kanji. (It's hard but he makes learning it a lot easier)

Really, he is very patient when it comes to teaching. I've experienced that!

I recommend tony-san if you're looking for a private tutor. He will surely help you and I have no doubt that you will learn fast.

I also would like to take this opportunity to thank Tony-san for all the help!

I meant text-messaging via computers, through Skype or some other instant messenger service.
