So when I was doing my homework I read a sentence that I didn't understand.(see above)

The homework is about Japan's various styles of marriage.

Please explain it!

The Japanese is something I've read, not written. I just don't understand what it's saying. Could you please explain the Japanese for me?

"Kekkon wo shita ato jibun no kyoumi wo motteiru shigoto ya jiyuu jikan ga nakunatte shimau to omou hajimemashita."
I feel the "hajimemashita" is kinda out of place. Except for the hajimemashita part, if it were just:
"Kekkon wo shita ato jibun no kyoumi wo motteiru shigoto ya jiyuu jikan ga nakunatte shimau to omou"
It would become something like this:
"I think that after getting married I'll end up having no free time and losing(having no) interest in my job" Of course it's just a free translation, it's far from literal. "ya" particle is being used, so it means it's a non-exhaustive list... "jibun no kyoumi wo motteiru" is there to describe "shigoto". "Ato" means after. The "to" in this case makes whatever's behind it become a subclause, so you can perform a few actions on the sentence. (直訳を放してみているね。。。)

I see, but this Japanese sounds a bit awkward. I suspect this was written by non Japanese speaker. For example, in the first sentence,

using "jaa" sounds unnatural here. The rest part is translated:
When I/we were doing homework, I read sentence that I didn't understand.

In the second one, "omou hajimemashita" is wrong. It should be "omoi hajimemashita". But it might be a simple typo.

I started to think/afraid that I may loose a work I'm interested in and relaxing time after getting marriage.
