Hi,
I have now added the first grade Jouyou kanji to the Flashcard Trainer. These kanji are the ones Japanese children learn in the first class at school.
Cheers,
Johan

Hi Johan,
I could not find in this site any topic related to how to write kanji. To get Jouyou grade, I need to study up to 100 kanji words, is this right? Could you please tell me the content of this examination?
Thanks in advance,
Woodbk13

Hi woodbk13,
The Joujou sets of Kanji are the ones Japanese school children learn. Each level represents the Kanji they learn in the corresponding class.
If you go into the Flash Card Trainer you will find all Jouyou kanji for the first grade under the topic "Kanji - Your very first". I separated the Kanjis into 8 training sets.
You may also want to follow the JLPT sets of kanji, that are linked to examinations of Japanese as a foreign language. There are 4 levels of JLPT and it starts with level 4 as the easiest. They are also available inside the Flash Card Trainer.
I prefer to follow the JLPT as the levels are adopted to foreign people learning a second language.
Good luck with your Kanji studies.
/Johan
