There should be more fun games for learning, not just flash cards! That would be nice

If you have a good idea for a game, there are several software developers who are members of the forum, so you might get one of them interested in implementing your idea.

I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a memory game, like flip over meaning then flip over hirigana or romaji. (could b a phrase too)

If you want someone to implement your idea, you will need to go into a lot more detail about how you want it to work. You may have a clear idea in your mind about this, but it is very hard for anyone else to figure out how you would intend the game to work from what you have written. What does the game look like? What words or phrases is the user tested on? How does the user indicate his or her answer to whatever word or phrase is presented? How is this scored, if there is a score?

What is a "real tester thing"?

It takes some effort to say clearly and exactly what you want; but it is unreasonable to expect someone to make the effort to write a program to do what you want if you are not willing to make this effort to explain it clearly.

I think by "real tester" she means like a quiz at the end of each section - to make sure the section has been learnt properly.
